Prodigal Daughter Postcard
This 14cm square postcard depicts Charlie Mackesy's painting entitled 'The Prodigal Daughter'. It shows an exhausted girl being received and held in the arms of a loving Father. Around the central figures are painted the words, 'This is the story of the prodigal daughter. It should really be called the running father who waited every day for his girl to come home, the daughter who had rejected him so badly, but when he saw her from a long way off he ran to her and hugged her and kissed her'. The colour way is dull (as opposed to shiny!) gold and burnt orange. Please note that as it is a postcard no envelope is supplied.
